A Cook's Space. A Passion for Cuisine
FLAVOUR THAT DELIVERS ON A PLATE
The biggest advantage of a culinary garden is this right here, flavour. Freshly-harvested means you can serve it at the point where the chemical components of the plant and therefore the flavour are most robust.
Sun-kissed tomatoes, fresh off the vine, are a different kettle of fish from their green picked and made-to-ripen cousins. Your Gazpacho knows this and your customers will thank you for it.
ACCESS TO THE RARE & HARD TO FIND
And no, we are not talking purple carrots and yellow beans, although we can do that too. We are talking access to produce for non-common use.
Growing cilantro for its delicate flowers, access to unique ingredients such as bronze fennel, and then later using the culinary dust that is its pollen to give your dishes an unusual depth of flavour.
Such is the luxury enjoyed with a bespoke kitchen garden grown by a company that is passionate about cuisine and about redefining the culinary landscape, one dish at a time.
SUSTAINABILITY STREET CRED
One of the biggest challenges in the world today is this, how do we feed an overgrowing population in a manner that ensures environmental stewardship?
It is estimated that agricultural activity contributes 24% of the global carbon footprint with electricity and industrial activities at 25% and 21% respectively. The management of agricultural soils and therefore, the manner in which food is grown to feed both man and livestock, accounts for half of the carbon emissions in the agricultural industry.
If we are going to lower these numbers we have to think carefully about how we grow, process and distribute our food. By providing your customers food that has been grown organically and in your own backyard, you are tremendously reducing the impact that food production has on the environment and demonstrating a visible commitment to sustainability.
